HELLO, I'M FELICITY


For over a decade, I've guided hundreds of people through their yoga journeys with my approachable, supportive teaching style.


My own relationship with movement has evolved over the years. While I've experienced the high-intensity side of fitness, I've also learned—sometimes the hard way—how important mindful movement is for lasting wellbeing.


I specialise in creating accessible practices for real bodies at every stage of life. Whether you're feeling stiff from sitting at a desk, navigating the changes of midlife, or simply wanting to move with more ease, my teaching meets you exactly where you are.


I've helped people of all ages and abilities transform nagging discomfort, improve sleep, manage stress, and maintain mobility as their bodies change with time. Many started exactly where you are now—feeling a bit uncertain but knowing their bodies needed something different.


I'm here to show you that reclaiming how your body feels doesn't require complicated routines or perfect flexibility. Let me guide you back to movement that feels good, one session at a time.

If you're hesitating because:


"I'm not flexible enough" - That's exactly why this course exists! Flexibility is the result of yoga, not a prerequisite.


"I feel self-conscious" - Everyone starts somewhere. Our community is supportive, and you can always turn your camera off if you prefer.


"I don't have time" - Sessions are just 45 minutes once a week - if you can't attend live you can catch up at a time that suits you.


"I've tried yoga before and didn't like it" - My approach is different - focused on functional movement rather than perfect poses, and my teaching style is steady and never rushed.


"I'm worried I won't be able to keep up" - Everything is adaptable to your body today, not some future version of you.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is this just for women, or are men welcome too?

Men are as welcome as women. This course is gender neutral! 

Do I need any special equipment?

You'll just need a non-slip mat if possible, comfortable clothing you can move in (no special "yoga clothes" required!), and enough space to lie down with your arms and legs extended.

Can I have my camera switched off?

If you'd feel more comfortable switching off your camera then that's absolutely fine. The benefit of having your camera switched on is that I can give you real-time feedback and correction but that's not essential. I'd love to see as many faces as possible as it's great to put a face to a name and to get to know you.

What will I view the sessions on?

The classes are delivered live via Zoom. You'll receive an email with the link when you join. You can access Zoom via your phone, tablet or computer.

I can barely touch my knees, let alone my toes. Is this really for me?

Absolutely! This course is specifically designed for people who feel stiff and inflexible. Just like you wouldn't expect to be already fit before starting at a gym, you don't need to be flexible to begin yoga. We'll work with your body exactly as it is today.

What if I can't make all the live sessions?

No problem at all. Recordings will be available within 24 hours after each session.

I have an old injury/chronic condition. Can I still participate?

In most cases, yes. Please let me know about any conditions beforehand so I can suggest appropriate modifications. The adaptable nature of these sessions works well for many different bodies, but it's always wise to check with your healthcare provider if you have specific concerns. If you have any questions regarding suitability, please email felicity@felicitywoodyoga.com to discuss this with me before joining.

What happens after the 4 weeks?

By the end of the course, you'll have a solid foundation of movements and practices to continue with. Many participants choose to join my ongoing membership for continued support and progression. We'll discuss options during the final week, but there's absolutely no pressure.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothes that you can move in easily—leggings or joggers and a t-shirt work perfectly. No special "yoga clothes" required! Just make sure you can bend, stretch and move without restriction.

I'm a complete beginner. Will I be completely lost?

Not at all! We build from the ground up, explaining everything as we go. Being new to movement practice actually means you won't have any habits to unlearn!
